The press is offline

If the dashboard says the press is offline, the web app cannot reach the paper service. Try again shortly. If settings were saved while the service was offline, they stay safe and sync when the pressroom comes back.

A build failed

A failed build appears in the press log and the dashboard offers a retry. Failures can come from source outages, service restarts, invalid upstream data, or a temporary press error. Retry once. If it fails again, simplify recent settings changes and try another build.

I hit my build limit

Build limits reset on a rolling weekly basis. Newsstand has one build a week. Reader has 14. Publisher has 35. Upgrade if you need more manual builds.

My feed URL will not save

RSS feeds must be full URLs beginning with http:// or https://. If a website has several feeds, use the direct RSS or Atom feed URL rather than the homepage.

My X material is not appearing

For desk X searches, the deployment needs platform X search keys. For From My Feed:
  • Connect X needs a paid X API tier with timeline read access.
  • The extension path needs a valid harvest token.
  • Regenerating a token invalidates the old token.
  • The buffer must contain usable tweets.
Magic links are valid for five minutes and one use. Request a new link from the sign-in page.

I cannot disconnect an account

The app blocks removal of the last sign-in method. Add another sign-in method first, then disconnect the old one.
